Delhi Assembly Adjourned As AAP MLAs Stage Protest

BY A STAFF REPORTER: As AAP leaders staged a protest, Delhi Assembly Speaker Ram Niwas Goel adjourned the assembly soon after the commencement of proceedings on March 27, Wednesday 

The AAP MLAs raised slogans supporting Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and against BJP-led central government. The Speaker adjourned the house for 15 minutes.

AAP MLAs came to the Well of the House and raised slogans in support of CM Arvind Kejriwal and against the Modi government.

Also, Delhi Ministers Atishi and Saurabh Bharadwaj along with other AAP MLAs staged a protest before the commencement of the session in Delhi Vidhan Sabha.

Furthermore, Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court Remanded Delhi CM and AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal to ED Custody till March 28 in the Delhi Liquorgate case on March 22, Friday.   The decision came as ED demanded 10-day custody of Kejriwal and submitted 28 pages of evidence alleging his involvement in the Delhi Liquor Policy Scam. 

The Enforcement Directorate arrested Delhi CM and AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal from his residence in connection with the Delhi Liquorgate case. He was arrested following search operations and Interrogations conducted by the ED at his residence on Thursday evening.
