BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a recent statement, the Additional Director of Police of Lucknow zone, Piyush Mordia on Tuesday stated that devotees will not allowed for 'darshan' from 20th January to 22nd January in Ram Temple Ayodhya due to space constraints. However, invitees will be exempted from the restriction.
Mordia also mentioned that only a limited number of people can be allowed in the temple for Darshan as there are space limitations. Therefore, common people will be solicited in Ram Temple Ayodhya after 23rd January.
The Ram Temple consecration ceremony will take place on 22nd January in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. Nearly 7,000 people have received invitations manually including celebrities like Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, and Ranbir Kapoor. Along with that, people who were closely associated with the Ram temple such as former Babri litigant Iqbal Ansari are also among the invitees.
