Aziz and his senior diplomat, the high commissioner of Malayasia in India, Muzzafar Shah Mustafa are in Kolkata to play in a golf tournament at a renowned south Kolkata Golf course.

Aziz claimed that there are 200 golf courses in Malaysia and Kuala Lampur and he invited golfer’s from Kolkata to play in his country. “Golf tourism has a huge potential to bring together people and culture of both countries,” he said.

Avishek Himmatsinghka, the brain behind the tournament opined that golf is the key to connect with people. “We have put this together with lot of hard work and proceeds will go for charity,” he said.
