By a staff reporter: Congress and their allies will form the next government at the Centre and there are chances of Rahul Gandhi becoming the Prime Minister, claimed a senior Karnataka minister. Speaking exclusively with ANM News over phone, social welfare minister and senior Congress leader HC Mahadevappa mentioned that there are indicative reports that BJP and NDA have already slipped and are falling short. ``There is no Modi wave and he has come to know about it.
The BJP has become desperate and are trying to polarise the electorate. But none of it will work. I feel either there will be a Congress government with support from like minded parties or a Opposition government with Congress support,'' he said. Mahadevappa went on to mention that he is foreseeing Rahul Gandhi as the next Prime Minister of the country.
Mahadevappa spoke to ANM News in between his campaign tours. Exuding confidence, Mahadevappa said that Congress will win at least 15 seats in Karnataka. Last election Congress fared poorly winning only one seat.
