Congress Suspends Ameen Khan, Balendu Singh Shekhawat

The Indian National Congress suspended former MLA Ameen Khan and Congress leader Balendu Singh Shekhawat for six years over alleged acts of indiscipline and anti-party activities on April 26, Friday.

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Amid the Lok Sabha elections, the Indian National Congress suspended former MLA Ameen Khan and Congress leader Balendu Singh Shekhawat for six years over alleged acts of indiscipline and anti-party activities on April 26, Friday. 

The INC took note of Barmer Lok Sabha Candidate Ummedaram Beniwal against Ameen Khan. The party also took note of Jalore Lok Sabha candidate Vaibhav Gehlot against Shekhawat.

Ameen Khan was an MLA from Rajasthan's Sheo Constituency in the 15th Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. Moreover, Balendu Singh Shekhawat is the former Secretary of the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee.
