Congress State-Coordinator Vikas Agrahari Joins BJP In Amethi

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, Congress State Coordinator Vikas Agrahari joined the BJP in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh on April 18, Thursday.

Agrahari joined the party in the presence of Union Minister and BJP Amethi Candidate Smriti Irani. However, the Congress has yet to announce its candidate for the Amethi constituency.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is set to contest from Wayanad, Kerala after facing defeat from the former bastion Amethi in the 2019 general elections. Union Minister Smriti Irani has served as an MP from Amethi since 2019.
