Congress Resumes Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra From Amethi's Fursatganj

As Rahul Gandhi gets bail in the defamation case, the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra resumed its journey from Fursatganj, Amethi in Uttar Pradesh on 20th February, Tuesday.

BY A STAFF REPORTER: As Rahul Gandhi gets bail in the defamation case, the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra resumed its journey from Fursatganj, Amethi in Uttar Pradesh on 20th February, Tuesday. 

Moreover, the Nyay Yatra was paused as Congress MP Rahul Gandhi was summoned by Sultanpur's district civil court in a 2018 defamation case. However, he was granted bail by Judge Yogesh Yadav after staying in custody for around 35 minutes. 

Additionally, Rahul Gandhi was summoned for making derogatory remarks against Union Home Minister Amit Shah in 2018 in a Bengaluru conference. BJP District Vice President Vijay Mishra had filed the case.
