Congress Releases List of 10 Candidates For Lok Sabha Election

BY A STAFF REPORTER: The Indian National Congress released a list of 10 nominees for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections on April 14, Sunday.
The Congress has nominated political activist Kanhaiya Kumar from the North East Delhi constituency. They have also fielded JP Agarwal from Chandni Chowk and Udit Raj from the North East Delhi constituency. In Punjab, the Congress nominated candidates from five constituencies namely, Amritsar, Jalandhar, Bhatinda, Sangrur, Patiala, and Fatehgarh Sahib. Further, Ujjwal Rewati Raman Singh is set to contest from the Allahabad constituency in Uttar Pradesh.

The Election Commission of India announced the schedule for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections on March 16. The election will be held in seven phases beginning on April 19. Moreover, the Model Code of Conduct has come into effect since the announcement and will be imposed till the result declaration.
