Congress Moves ECI Over PM Modi's 'Muslim League Manifesto' Remarks

The Congress has filed a complaint over PM Modi's remarks where he compared the Congress manifesto with the Muslim League's manifesto and accused Congress of splitting the country on the basis of caste and reservations.

BY A STAFF REPORTER: The Indian National Congress filed a complaint with the Election Commission of India against Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his remarks against the Congress Manifesto on April 8, Monday. 

The Congress has filed a complaint over PM Modi's remarks where he compared the Congress manifesto with the Muslim League's manifesto and accused Congress of splitting the country on the basis of caste and reservations.

PM Modi passed these remarks in a rally held in Ajmer, Rajasthan on April 6. He reiterated this comment today in a rally at Bastar. Moreover, BJP National President JP Nadda also passed the same statement against Congress earlier today.
