BY A STAFF REPORTER: Opposition MLAs infuriated CM Nitish Kumar by raising 'Nitish Kumar Murdabad' slogans during his address in the Bihar Assembly on 13th February, Tuesday in Patna.
Responding to the sloganeering, Nitish Kumar argued that slogans are being raised because his government is providing medical treatments through facilities. Kumar further accused the opposition of wanting people to die. Moreover, he called for the cessation of slogans.
Nitish Kumar-led NDA government won the floor test with 129 votes in Bihar Assembly on 12th February, Monday. The current chief minister Nitish Kumar resigned from his post and formed a new government with the aid of the BJP on 28th January. Earlier in 2022, he had left NDA and joined the Bihar Mahagathbandhan (grand alliance) which comprised Lalu Yadav's RJD, Congress, and three other parties
