BY A STAFF REPORTER: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee vehemently opposed UCC, CAA, and NRC while addressing an Eid gathering in Kolkata on April 11, Thursday.

Mamata Banerjee claimed that they are ready to shed blood for the country but will not tolerate torture for the country. She further stated that the Uniform Civil Code is not acceptable as she wants harmony of all religions. She also opposed the now-implemented NRC and CAA.

Banerjee also urged the gathering to keep quiet and calm if anyone comes to riot. Moreover, she took a jibe at the BJP and stated that they would send NIA to arrest everyone if there was a blast. She further mentioned that they would desolate the country by arresting everyone. Banerjee also emphasized that everyone must stay together to live beneath a beautiful sky.

Mamata Banerjee addressed a gathering on the occasion of Eid at Kolkata's Red Road, West Bengal. However, she received a twin shock on Wednesday as the Calcutta High Court ruled in the favor of West Bengal Government and state police administration in two cases respectively.
