By a Staff Reporter: A huge Cyclothon has started from Bakkhali sea beach to mark the 56th CISF Raising Day.

The marathon will be held along the 6,553-km coastline of India.

The Cyclothon will conclude in Kanyakumari on April 1.

More than 100 participants, including 8 women, have participated in it.

The journey will convey the message of increasing coastal safety and keeping the community involved with the fishermen's families.

CISF DIG K Pratap Singh said, "Today is the second day of the CISF Cyclothon that we are conducting. We started this cyclothon from Bakkhali beach yesterday. We want to give an awareness message to the citizens living in the coastal areas of the country through this marathon."
