Center Should Address Agniveer Shortcomings: JD(U)'s KC Tyagi

BY A STAFF REPORTER: As the Lok Sabha elections conclude, JD(U) Spokesperson KC Tyagi on Thursday stated that the Central Government should discuss shortcomings of the Agniveer Scheme and the Uniform Civil Code.

KC Tyagi shared that a section of voters is upset over the Agniveer scheme. Therefore, the party wants those shortcomings which have been questioned by the public to be discussed thoroughly and removed. He further claimed that Bihar CM Nitish Kumar wrote to the  Law Commission Chief regarding the UCC. He also maintained that the party is not against UCC but demands a solution for it by consulting all the stakeholders.
