CBI Seeks Permission To Grill K Kavitha In Delhi Excise Policy Case

The Central Bureau of Investigation has moved an application seeking permission to interrogate BRS MLC K Kavitha during her judicial custody in the Delhi liquor policy case on April 5, Friday.

BY A STAFF REPORTER: The Central Bureau of Investigation has moved an application seeking permission to interrogate BRS MLC K Kavitha during her judicial custody in the Delhi liquor policy case on April 5, Friday.

K Kavitha is currently in judicial custody. Kavitha on Thursday submitted a plea before the Rouse Avenue Court seeking an interim bail due to her son's exams. However, the Enforcement Directorate strongly opposed the bail claiming that it could hamper the probe. 

Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court sent BRS MLC K Kavitha to judicial custody till April 9 in the Delhi Liquor Policy Case on March 26, Tuesday. The Enforcement Directorate arrested her on March 15 following a raid at her residence in Hyderabad.
