Bomb Threat in Kolkata's Indian Museum

The Kolkata Police on Friday received a mail regarding a bomb in the Indian Museum, Kolkata from a group called 'Terrorizer's 111'. The bomb squad rushed to the location and visitors were prohibited from entering the museum for the next few hours.

BY A STAFF REPORTER: The Kolkata Police on Friday received a mail regarding a bomb in the Indian Museum, Kolkata from a group called 'Terrorizer's 111'.

The bomb squad rushed to the location and visitors were prohibited from entering the museum for the next few hours. The authorities received messages alerting them about a bomb in the museum and many people may die. 

Ahead of Republic Day, many locations have received bomb threats including the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Now Kolkata's Indian Museum joins the list. The investigations are underway.

Earlier in the day,  A mob of villagers attacked Enforcement Directorate officials in West Bengal's Sandeshkali, North 24 Parganas while they were conducting a raid in connection with a ration distribution scam.
