Peaceful election is impossible! claims BJP state president

BY A STAFF REPORTER: BJP’s state president Sukanta Majumdar has reacted to the Panchayat  Election. He says, "We are ready for the panchayat elections. We want this panchayat election to be free and peaceful. This is possible only when the state government takes the help of central forces. It is impossible for an election to be held peacefully by the state police. And even then, if the State Election Commission conducts the election with the help of the state police and there is any incident of violence, then the Election Commission will have to take responsibility for it.” Will the BJP then approach the High Court demanding that the polls be conducted with central forces? Sukanta Majumdar said, "We will talk to our department about this. ‘’
