BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a recent development, the BJP workers organized a camp to record the complaints of Sandeshkhali victims in North 24 Parganas, West Bengal on March 17, Sunday.

The move comes after an order from the Calcutta High Court. Moreover, the CBI arrested three more people, including Shahjahan Sheikh's brother, Sheikh Alomgir in connection with the Sandeshkhali ED incident.

The CBI took over Sandeshkhali accused Shahjahan Sheikh's custody from the West Bengal CID after the second order of the Calcutta High Court on Wednesday.

The Calcutta High Court on Tuesday transferred the Sandeshkhali case including the attack on ED sleuths and allegations on Shahjahan Sheikh to the Central Bureau of Investigation.

The prime accused in the Sandeshkhali matter, Shahjahan Sheikh was arrested on 29th February, Thursday. He was suspended for six years by the Trinamool Congress.

A village located in North 24 Parganas, West Bengal, Sandeshkhali is witnessing significant clashes and violence following allegations of systematic sexual exploitations and land-grabbing committed by TMC leaders, Shahjahan Sheikh, Shibu Hazara and Uttam Sardar. Shahjahan Sheikh remained absconding since 5th January after an ED team was attacked by a large mob while conducting raids at Shahjahan's residence.
