BJP Releases 3rd List of Candidates For Lok Sabha Elections

The BJP has fielded Tamilisai Soundararajan from South Chennai. Moreover, Tamilisai Soundararajan resigned from the post of Governor of Telangana and Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry to rejoin politics and contest in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a significant move, the BJP released its 3rd list of candidates from Tamil Nadu for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections on March 21, Thursday. 

The list contains nine candidates from Lok Sabha Constituencies of Tamil Nadu. The BJP has fielded Tamilisai Soundararajan from South Chennai. Moreover, Tamilisai Soundararajan resigned from the post of Governor of Telangana and Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry to rejoin politics and contest in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Furthermore, Soundararajan rejoined the BJP yesterday.

Moreover, Vinod P. Selvam is set to contest from Central Chennai, C. Narsimhan will contest from Vellore, L Murugan will contest from Nilgiris, K. Annamalai is set to contest from Coimbatore,  T.R. Paarivendhar is fielded on Perambalur seat, Nainar Nagendran will contest from Thoothukudi and Pon. Radhakrishnan is set to contest from Kanniyakumari.

The Election Commission of India announced the schedule for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections on March 16. The election will be held in seven phases beginning on April 19. Moreover, the Model Code of Conduct has been effective since the announcement and will be imposed until the result declaration.
