BJP MLA Agnimitra Paul, Mahila Morcha Hold Candle March In Kolkata

BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a significant move, BJP Mahila Morcha President Vanathi Srinivasan and BJP MLA Agnimitra Paul hold a candle march over the Sandeshkhali incident in Kolkata, West Bengal on 24th February, Saturday. 

Furthermore, both leaders are leading the march from College Square to Thanthania Kalibari against the alleged cases of violence and atrocities in Sandeshkhali.

Moreover, Vanathi Srinivasan held a joint press conference with Agnimitra Paul and condemned the TMC-led WB government for allegedly safeguarding criminals. She also expressed grief over the condition of women in Bengal. 

A village located in North 24 Parganas, West Bengal, Sandeshkhali is witnessing significant clashes and violence following allegations of systematic sexual exploitations and land-grabbing committed by TMC leaders, Shahjahan Sheikh, Shibu Hazara and Uttam Sardar. While others have been arrested, Shahjahan Sheikh remains absconding.
