BJP Leaders Hold Protest Demanding Arvind Kejriwal's Resignation

BY A STAFF REPORTER: As AAP leaders gear up for Gherao, BJP leaders are staging protests against arrested Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and demanding his resignation from his post on March 26, Tuesday.

Moreover, BJP leader BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa says, "They want to divert the attention from the alcohol scam. They keep saying that they are getting orders from jail. I have given a written complaint to the LG and ED director that action should be taken on the false letter that they had produced." He further added "The way gangsters and extortionists operate gangs from jail, they want to operate the CM office. A corrupt like Arvind Kejriwal cannot be the CM. He has to resign"

Moreover, AAP leaders are set to stage gherao around Prime Minister Narendra Modi's residence in New Delhi against Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's arrest and remand. However, section 144 has been imposed around the Patel Chowk Metro Station. 

Furthermore, Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court Remanded Delhi CM and AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal to ED Custody till March 28 in the Delhi Liquorgate case on March 22, Friday. The decision came as ED demanded 10-day custody of Kejriwal and submitted 28 pages of evidence alleging his involvement in the Delhi Liquor Policy Scam. 

The Enforcement Directorate arrested Delhi CM and AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal from his residence in connection with the Delhi Liquorgate case. He was arrested following search operations and Interrogations conducted by the ED at his residence on Thursday evening.
