BY A STAFF REPORTER: Ahead of the Lok Sabha Elections, BJD Kendrapara MP Anubhav Mohanty resigns from the party on March 31, Saturday. 

Known for his works in Odia and Bengali cinema, Mohanty addressed a letter to Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik and informed him about his resignation. He has served as an MP from Kendrapara constituency since 2019. Moreover, he is the youngest parliamentarian of Rajya Sabha. 

Moreover, six-time MP from Cuttack and former BJD leader Bhartruhari Mahtab also joined the BJP along with former BJD MP Sidhant Mohapatra and Padma Awardee Damayanti Beshra on March 28, Thursday.
