BY A STAFF REPORTER: Amid the Lok Sabha elections, the Bihar BJP on Wednesday expelled Bhojpuri singer Pawan Singh over his independent candidature against NDA's official candidate.

Pawan Singh is set to contest against NDA candidate and RLM leader Upendra Kushwaha in the Karakat Lok Sabha Constituency of Bihar.

The Karakat Lok Sabha Constituency will go to polls in the last phase of general elections on June 1. Moreover, the counting will commence on June 4.
