Bhupatinagar Blast's Two Accused Brought To Bankshall Court

BY A STAFF REPORTER: The National Investigation Agency brought the two accused in the Bhupatinagar Blast Case to the Bankshall Court in Kolkata, West Bengal on April 6, Saturday.
Both accused, Balai Charan Maity and Manobrata Jana, will be produced before the city sessions court in Kolkata. The key accused were arrested after extensive search operations at five places including Jana's residence where the NIA team faced violent protests by nearly 150 local residents.

Earlier today, Sleuths of NIA suffered injuries after being attacked by the villagers at Bhupatinagar, Purba Medinipur, while conducting raids in connection with the December 2022 blast case in which three people were killed. The official vehicles of the team were also vandalized in the incident.
