Bengaluru Cafe Blast Conspirators Brought To Bidhannagar Hospital
Hours after the arrest, the key conspirators of Bengaluru's Rameshwaram cafe blast, Abdul Matheen Taahaa, and Mussavir Hussain Shazib were brought to Kolkata's Bidhannagar Hospital for a medical check-up on April 12, Friday.
BY A STAFF REPORTER: Hours after the arrest, the key conspirators of Bengaluru's Rameshwaram cafe blast, Abdul Matheen Taahaa, and Mussavir Hussain Shazib were brought to Kolkata's Bidhannagar Hospital for a medical check-up on April 12, Friday.
The mastermind behind the cafe blast will shortly be produced before Kolkata's Bankshall Court after the medical examination ends. The NIA arrested Taahaa and Shazib from a hideout in Kolkata, West Bengal on Friday morning.

Both accused were hiding under a fake identity. Abdul Matheen Taahaa trained and planned the bombing while Mussavir planted the IED in Bengaluru's Rameshwaram cafe. Abdul Matheen Taahaa also planned the escape from the clutches of law. As per reports, the accused are repeat offenders and have conspired in other terrorist attacks as well.
The NIA also released a poster sharing the information regarding the wanted accused and announcing a Rs. 10 lakh bounty on their heads on March 29, Friday.
The NIA took over the Rameshwaram Cafe blast case on 5th March on the orders of the Home Ministry. Furthermore, a small-scale blast occurred at Bengaluru's famous Rameshwaram Cafe, Karnataka on 1st March. The blast resulted in nine injuries.
