Bengal LoP Suvendu Adhikari Slams Rahul Gandhi For 'Shakti' Remark

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Amid the 'Shakti' remark controversy, West Bengal LoP and BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari took a jibe at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, comparing him to PM Modi's Nari Shakti Vandan on March 18, Monday. 

Suvendu Adhikari slammed Rahul Gandhi for not speaking on the Sandeshkhali incident. Adhikari further stated that Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge normalized the incident. Furthermore, he asserted that PM Modi did 'Naari Shakti Vandan' (tributed to women empowerment) by launching schemes such as the Ujjwala scheme and PM Awas Yojana. Adhikari affirmed that 'Matri Shakti' will come forward to bloom the lotus again.

Moreover, Adhikari stated that the condition of Rahul Gandhi's party is very poor and they will not win more than 20 seats.

During the conclusion rally of Congress' Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Shivaji Park, Mumbai, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Sunday stated that the Alliance's fight is against Shakti. The remark sparked significant controversy and backlash from the Bharatiya Janata Party.
