BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a significant move, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee met with Prime Minister Narendra during his two-day visit to Bengal on 1st March, Friday in Raj Bhavan, Kolkata.
Furthermore, Mamata Banerjee shared that the meeting was merely a protocol meeting and both leaders refrained from discussing political matters as it was not a political meeting.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will stay at the Raj Bhavan for today and leave for Krishnagar to address a public rally tomorrow.
Additionally, PM Modi took a jibe at the TMC-led West Bengal government for the Sandeshkhali incident. While addressing a rally at Arambag after inaugurating multiple developmental projects worth Rs. 7,200 Crores, PM Modi remarked that TMC was the biggest hurdle in the empowerment of women, youth, and farmers in Bengal.
