Bansuri Swaraj Slams Arvind Kejriwal For Remarks On CAA
Bansuri Swaraj argued that Arvind Kejriwal didn't pass such remarks for Rohingya refugees or Bangladeshi refugees. She further alleged that Arvind Kejriwal is engaging in appeasement and vote-bank politics.
BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a recent statement, BJP's Lok Sabha Candidate Bansuri Swaraj criticized Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal for passing ill remarks on the Citizenship Amendment Act (Rules) 2024 on March 15, Friday.
Bansuri Swaraj argued that Arvind Kejriwal didn't pass such remarks for Rohingya refugees or Bangladeshi refugees. She further alleged that Arvind Kejriwal is engaging in appeasement and vote-bank politics. She asserted that the CAA grants Citizenship and doesn't revoke it.

Arvind Kejriwal criticized the CAA implementation and expressed concern over the rights and resources of Indian Citizens being shared with refugees on March 13.
Moreover, former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj's daughter Bansuri Swaraj is BJP's candidate from New Delhi for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
The Ministry of Home Affairs announced the rules of the Citizenship Amendment Act (2019). Furthermore, the newly implemented CAA will be called the 'Citizenship Amendment Act (Rules) 2024'. The Act aims to grant Indian Citizenship to the refugees and migrants belonging to Hindu, Sikh, Jain, Parsi, Buddhist, Jain, and Christian communities who arrived in India before 31st December 2014 and faced persecution in their homelands.
