BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a significant move, Naoboicha MLA Bharat Chandra Narah tendered his resignation from Indian National Congress on March 25, Monday.

Moreover, Bharat Chandra Narah is serving his sixth term as the MLA representing the Naoboicha constituency in the Assam Legislative Assembly. However, he was previously an MLA from the Dhakuakhana constituency for five terms. He has also served as a cabinet minister in the Assam government.

Moreover, his wife Ranee Narah is a former Union Minister and four-term Rajya Sabha MP from 2016 to 2022.
