According to the sources of the Meteorological Department, the storm and rain will increase on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, the Meteorological Department issued a severe thunderstorm warning in 11 districts of South Bengal. The orange alert has been issued in Kolkata, Howrah, East and West Burdwan, Jhargram, East and West Medinipur, Bankura, Hooghly, and the North and South 24 Parganas.

Also, heavy rain warnings are in place in East Medinipur and North and South 24 Parganas. In the next 48 hours, heavy storms will rage in South Bengal. This situation will continue until next Friday. Weather conditions will be normal starting Saturday.

The Meteorological Department has also issued a tornado warning for the Sundarban area.
