Amit Shah Launches Air-Conditioned E-Bus Services In Jammu

As per Shah, 100 fully air-conditioned e-buses have been unveiled to serve Jammu residents. Costing around 561 crores, the bus services will continue for the next 12 years.

BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a recent development, Union Home Minister Amit Shah flagged off e-bus services virtually in Jammu on Thursday in New Delhi 

As per Shah, 100 fully air-conditioned e-buses have been unveiled to serve Jammu residents. Costing around 561 crores, the bus services will continue for the next 12 years. Furthermore, the bus services will run from Jammu to Katra, Kathua, Udhampur, and intra-city routes. Tata Motors has been entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring smooth operations of the buses.

Apart from this, the home minister also distributed appointment letters to the 204 candidates who cracked the J&K Competitive examination comprising 96 J&K administrative officers, 63 accounts services officers, and 50 officers of J&K police.
