AAP Set To Gherao PM Modi's Residence On 26th March

BY A STAFF REPORTER: A day after Arvind Kejriwal's arrest, AAP leaders have decided to stage 'Gherao' around Prime Minister Narendra Modi's residence on March 26 in Delhi. 

The decision comes as a protest to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's arrest in connection with the Delhi Liquorgate case. Moreover, the Gherao will staged around Panchvati, the official name of PM Modi's residential complex, which is situated at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg in New Delhi. 

Furthermore, Gherao is a form of protest in which a group surrounds a place of work or residence to prevent those in authority from leaving until their demands are heard or met.

The Enforcement Directorate arrested Delhi CM and AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal from his residence in connection with the Delhi Liquorgate case. He was arrested following search operations and Interrogations conducted by the ED at his residence on Thursday evening.
