8th Budget Dedicated To Lord Ram: Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed happiness in presenting the 8th state budget and dedicated it to Lord Ram on 10th February, Saturday in Lucknow.

He further marked Lord Ram as the symbol of 'lokmangal' (societal wellbeing). Yogi also emphasized that the state's funds shall be allocated to the people without any discrimination and called this the idea of 'Ram Rajya'. Yogi also argued that the opposition is having problems with the fact that India has become the fifth-largest economy.

The budget of Uttar Pradesh is sized at Rs. 736,437 crores. Moreover, it incorporates new schemes costing nearly Rs. 24,000 crores. Furthermore, the current budget has prioritized women, youth, farmers, and employment generation. UP CM Yogi Adityanath termed the budget a 'Pink Budget' as it introduced many women-centric schemes.
