BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a recent statement, Haryana DGP Shatrujeet Kapur on Wednesday informed that two DSPs along with 24 police personnel and a few farmers suffered injuries during the clash between police and protesters yesterday at the Haryana-Shambhu border.

Kapur further urged the concerned to follow law and order. Moreover, he also informed that predominantly Ambala-Chandigarh route is affected due to protests.

The authorities used tear-gas shells and water cannons to disperse the massive crowd of protesting farmers who were en route to Delhi to participate in the large-scale farmers' protest, namely 'Delhi chalo march', predominantly seeking legal assurance of MSP (minimum selling price). The protests grew violent on the Haryana-Shambhu border as the agitated protesters vandalized flyover barricades.
