BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a significant move, the Director General of the Indian Coast Guard, Rakesh Pal, inaugurated the 16th Indian Coast Guard Technical and Logistics Management Conference in Kolkata, West Bengal on March 19, Tuesday.
Moreover, senior Indian Coast Guard officials including Deputy Director General Homesh Kumar Sharma, Commander Coast Guard Region (North East) Iqbal Singh Chauhan along with senior technical and logistics officers and policymakers of the Indian Coast Guard from across the country will attend the three-day conference in Kolkata. Also, they will convene deliberations on enhanced and indigenously built technical/logistics support to the ICG fleet, contributing to ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’.
