BY A STAFF REPORTER: Amid overwhelming crowd in Ayodhya, Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami along with state ministers is set to visit Ayodhya's Ram Mandir on 2nd February.

Earlier Dhami stressed that Uttarakhand and Lord Ram have an unbroken connection. Yesterday, reports said that PM Modi has advised his cabinet colleagues to not visit Ram Mandir before March as the VIP protocols may inconvenience the people during the current rush in Ayodhya. This comes after a large number of devotees reached Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple on its opening day (23rd January Tuesday). As per the reports, nearly four lakh people came to seek the blessings of Lord Ram on the first day. Subsequently, this rose as a crisis for the Temple authorities as it was difficult to manage the 'stampede-like' condition in the mandir.

The grand Pran-Pratishtha ceremony was successfully carried out on Monday 22nd January, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the chief 'Yajman' and a sea of dignitaries participating in the ceremony.
