BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a recent statement, Purnima Kothari, sister of the Kothari brothers, expressed that Congress leaders are misfortunate that they have declined the invitation.
She further emphasized that lakhs of people are despondent of not being able to witness the Pran Pratishtha ceremony but they are grateful for just being in the city during the ceremony. Moreover, she accused Congress of witnessing everything from a political perspective.
Ram Kothari and Sharad Kothari of Kolkata were brothers who were shot dead during the Ram Temple movement in 1990. They were one of the karsevaks who climbed on the Babri Masjid's top and installed the Saffron flag on 30th October 1990.
Purnima Kothari is also among the invitees who will be attending the Ram Temple consecration ceremony scheduled on 22nd January in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. Moreover, The Ram Sharad Smriti Sangh will be providing refreshments to the 25,000 guests of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony.
