BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a recent development, former Maharashtra Chief Minister and Shiv Sena (UBT) president on Sunday revealed that he has received Pran-Pratishtha ceremony invite through speed-post.

Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut called out the government for sending last-minute invites through speed post and ill-treating the Thackeray family. Raut said that film actors have been invited with honors but the Thackeray family, who has played a key role in the Ram Mandir struggle is treated in such a manner. However, Uday Samant, a minister from Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena stated that speed post was used to save time.

To commemorate the Ram Temple inauguration ceremony, Thackeray along with the party leaders will be leading a Maha-Aarti at the Kalaram Temple on the consecration day. Situated on the banks of the Godavari River, the temple is dedicated to Lord Ram as he along with his wife Sita and brother Laxman resided in Panchavati during his exile. Moreover, it is significantly popular for the protests staged by Dr. BR Ambedkar for the entry of Dalits into the Temple.

On the same day, the Ram Temple consecration ceremony will be organized in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. Many prominent personalities have been invited to the ceremony.
