BY A STAFF REPORTER: As the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony concludes, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday announced the launch of 'Pradhanmantri Suryoday Yojana' (Prime Minister Sunrise Scheme).

PM Modi took it to his X handle to announce the launch of the solar rooftop scheme. As per the scheme, the government targets to install solar rooftops at one crore houses. Moreover, Modi stated that this is his first decision after returning from Ayodhya. Along with reducing electricity expenses for the indigent and middle class, this scheme also aims to make India self-reliant in the energy sector.

This comes after the successful conclusion of Lord Ram's Pran-Pratishtha ceremony on Monday 22nd January in Ayodhya. A sea of prominent dignitaries were seen attending the ceremony. Furthermore, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also participated by leading the rituals of the ceremony.
