BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a recent development, Ayodhya's Municipal Corporation is forming Ramcharitmanas themed 'Ashray Sthal' to accommodate devotees who are visiting Ayodhya to witness the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony on 22nd January.
The ceilings and walls are in cream and saffron color, along with posters of Lord Ram and Ramayana elements attached to the wall. Beds in large numbers have been positioned inside the accommodation along with ceiling fans on the top. Moreover, the walls are adorned with stickers reading 'Jai Sita Ram' in Devnagri.
The Ram Temple consecration rituals began on January 16 Tuesday and will continue for seven days. The idol of Lord Ram will be placed today at the sanctum sanctorum. Over 7,000 dignitaries will be attending the grand Pran-Pratishtha ceremony on 22nd January in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.
