Pran-Pratishtha Completely Political: Congress MP Rahul Gandhi

BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a controversial statement, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday termed the ongoing Ram Temple consecration ceremony as a 'political-Narendra Modi function'.

He further stated that the function is designed around Prime Minister Narendra Modi and RSS therefore the Congress President won't attend an 'RSS/BJP' function. Moreover, Gandhi said that top Hindu authorities have publicly disclosed their views on the Pran-Pratishtha function, calling it a 'politically motivated event'. He passed the statement while addressing the presser during Congress' Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra. 

The consecration procedures of the Ram Temple began on Tuesday, January 16, and will last seven days. Over 7,000 dignitaries are expected to attend the grand Pran-Pratishtha event on January 22nd in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.
