People Take Holy Dip At Sarayu Ghat As Ram Temple Opens

BY A STAFF REPORTER: As the Ram Mandir opens for the general public today, many devotees came to immerse themselves in the holy Sarayu River on 23rd January, Tuesday in Ayodhya. 

The grand Pran-Pratishtha ceremony was successfully carried out yesterday, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the chief 'Yajman' and a sea of dignitaries participating in the ceremony. Moreover, the Sarayu River was illuminated with diyas marking the successful conclusion of the event and the arrival of Lord Ram. Furthermore, the Indian Diaspora also celebrated the Inauguration ceremony. A 'Diwali' '-like atmosphere had developed with diyas and firecrackers. 

The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple is designed in the traditional Nagara style. It has 44 doors out of which 14 are gilded in Gold.
