BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a bold statement, Congress leader Pawan Khera on Friday accused the Ram Temple Inauguration ceremony as a political event as it is not happening under the guidance of Shankaracharya of four 'Peeth'.

Khera further mentioned members of the political party are acting like a 'Thekedaar' (middleman) between the devotees and God. Moreover, he unequivocally questioned the Bharatiya Janata Party about the 'panchang' they referred to before scheduling the date for the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony. He challenged if the event was taking place under the guidance and supervision of four Shankaracharya. Moreover, Khera alleged that Shankaracharya of four peeth has categorically said that the consecration of an incomplete temple does not comply with the rituals. The Congress Leader stated that the event is political as it is not adhering to the rituals.

The widely debated Ram temple consecration ceremony will take place on 22nd January in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.
