BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a recent development, the center authorized the National Highway Authority of India to build a 68 KM 'greenfield bypass' seeking to decongest Ayodhya and neighboring areas.

Moreover, NHAI has invited bids to construct around four or six land highways encompassing the Lucknow, Basti, and Gonda districts. As per reports, the project costs Rs. 3,570 crores. Furthermore, the project aims to facilitate travel for the residents of Ayodhya and adjacent cities. After the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony concluded on January 22nd, Ayodhya's Ram Mandir witnessed an overwhelming crowd swarming the city. The 'stampede-like' situation was difficult to manage on the opening day. However, authorities are working on tackling the situation.
