Named It Shubh Vastram: Ram Lalla's Outfit Designer Gives Details
Manish Tripathi has named the outfit as 'shubh vastram' (auspicious outfit). He further revealed the outfit is 'Pitambar' (yellow-colored) and it was prepared in Varanasi.
BY A STAFF REPORTER: Manish Tripathi, outfit designer of Ram Lalla's idol on Tuesday provided some insights on the outfit used in the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony of Lord Ram in Ayodhya.
Tripathi has named the outfit as 'shubh vastram' (auspicious outfit). He further revealed the outfit is 'Pitambar' (yellow-colored) and it was prepared in Varanasi. The gold and silver wires were used during the outfit's embroidery. Moreover, the team comprised around 12 to 15 people who traveled from Delhi to Ayodhya. Tripathi further expressed that he is fortunate to undertake this responsibility.
This comes a day after the successful conclusion of the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony on 22nd January Monday in Ayodhya. The idol of Lord Ram has been Placed and consecrated at the Sanctum Sanctorum in the Shree Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. A sea of dignitaries from all walks of life attended the ceremony. Moreover, Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the rituals of the ceremony
