Goa's Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Thursday announced that 22nd January will be a holiday for Goa's government employees given the Ram Temple Pran-Pratishtha ceremony.

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Goa's Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Thursday announced that 22nd January will be a holiday for Goa's government employees given the Ram Temple Pran-Pratishtha ceremony.

Moreover, a half-day has been declared for all central employees on 22nd January for the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony. Earlier today, Sawant also participated in the cleanliness drive by cleaning the premises of Sakhali temples in North Goa. The 11th CM of Goa, Pramod Sawant represents the Sakhali constituency. 

The Ram Temple consecration rituals began on January 16 Tuesday and will continue for seven days. The idol of Lord Ram will be placed today at the sanctum sanctorum. Over 7,000 dignitaries will be attending the grand Pran-Pratishtha ceremony on 22nd January in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.
