BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a recent statement, the chief of Ayodhya's Ram Temple Construction Committee, Nripendra Mishra on Wednesday asked people to not celebrate in such a way that makes other religions feel less valued in the country.

Moreover, Mishra recalled Prime Minister Narendra Modi's statement in 2019 where he said there should neither be a sense of victory nor a sense of defeat and the judgment must be accepted by all. He urged citizens to be cautious while celebrating this day and not belittle other religions during their celebration. He emphasized that people's rights have been acknowledged and their faith has been respected. Nripendra Mishra termed the Ram Temple consecration ceremony as a 'historic event'.

The consecration procedures of the Ram Temple began on Tuesday, January 16, and will last seven days. Over 7,000 dignitaries are expected to attend the grand Pran-Pratishtha event on January 22nd in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.
