BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a unique incident, A bank named 'International Shri Sitaram Naam Bank' accepts 'Ram-Naam' as deposits instead of regular currencies.
Punit Ram Das, the manager of the Unique Bank, revealed that the bank's objective is to spread the name of Lord Ram. Moreover, A 73-year-old man named Ram Chandra Kesarwani has deposited Lord Ram's name 2.86 crore times in the bank. The Kaushambi man started depositing in the bank in April 2011 and has written the name 5,000 times per day with red ink since then.
The Ram Temple consecration rituals began on January 16 Tuesday and will continue for seven days. The idol of Lord Ram will be placed today at the sanctum sanctorum. Over 7,000 dignitaries will attend the grand Pran-Pratishtha ceremony on 22nd January in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.
