Paris: Indian shooter Swapnil Kusale clinched a bronze medal in the Men's 50m Rifle 3P event at the Paris Olympics, marking a significant achievement in his sporting career. "Winning an Olympic medal is the dream of every athlete. I worked hard and achieved this medal. I will work hard for the next Olympics also," Kusale said, reflecting on his dedication and perseverance.

Kusale expressed gratitude to the Federation and the Sports Authority of India (SAI) for their unwavering support. "Everyone including the Federation and SAI supported the shooters...When our national anthem is played we feel that we have done India proud," he added, highlighting the collective effort behind his success.

He also acknowledged the pivotal role of his father and the Maharashtra government's 'Krida Prabodhan' scheme in shaping his career. "Since childhood, my father encouraged me into sports. I got into shooting through the Maharashtra govt's 'Krida Prabodhan' scheme and they supported me a lot," Kusale shared, dedicating his victory to those who believed in him from the beginning.
