According to veteran expert of Kanha National Park, Nishikanta Mukherjee, more and more tigers are coming out in the open as the season gets hot and warmer.

Mukherjee, discounted any reports of poachers being active in the Kanha national park and instead claimed that there is a massive synergy between man and animal.

He claimed that recently a tiger had strayed into a village after getting injured and sought help.

The villagers instead of attacking the animal, informed the forest department and the animal was treated and rescued. Mukherjee has been working with the animals and tribals of Kanha for few years.
