BJP leader Amit Malviya has once again raised the issue of violence in the panchayat polls and the meeting of opposition parties to be held in Bengaluru. Questions are being raised as to why Rahul Gandhi did not speak on the issue. BJP Leader tweeted that, "More than 50 people, including Congress workers, have died in the panchayat elections in West Bengal. Will Rahul Gandhi face Mamata Banerjee and condemn violence? Or surrender? Rahul Gandhi's silence so far on the state-sponsored bloodshed smells of cowardice and a worse kind of political opportunism.”
WB panchayat elections saw more than 50 people dead, which includes Congress workers. Will Rahul Gandhi confront Mamata Banerjee and deplore violence or capitulate? His silence, so far, on the state sponsored bloodshed, reeks of cowardice and worse kind of political opportunism.
